CONTRACTS ADMIN SR
Duties: Provide pre-award and post-award non-financial administration for designated PI/School/Department and Centers. Negotiate terms and conditions of awards. Review terms and conditions of awards to ensure compliance with University policies, federal and other sponsor guidelines. Generate and negotiate subawards (incoming and outgoing) as required, ensuring terms and conditions are compliant with prime award terms and conditions. Manage the review and negotiation of non-monetary agreements such as material transfer agreements, confidentiality agreements, and data use agreements.
Reporting directly to the Associate Vice President/Associate Vice Provost for Research, the Research Inventory System (RIS) Administrator is responsible for maintenance of the system including access, troubleshooting, training and testing as required. The RIS administrator also serves as the program manager for projects to revise/enhance RIS.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 3 years to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Certified Research Administrator certification preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations and expertise in contract negotiations in an academic setting a plus. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft products.
Knowledge of PennERA a plus.
