The Ithaca College Department of Philosophy & Religion invites applications for a one-year full-time Assistant Professor position in World Religions for the 2018-19 academic year (beginning August 16, 2018), with the possibility of reappointment for a second year. Areas of expertise: Clear evidence of an ability to teach courses in Hinduism, Islam, and Race & Religion is essential.
Demonstrated teaching excellence and PhD in Religious Studies or closely related area by time of appointment (or expected by December 31, 2018). Evidence of scholarly promise preferred.
