Job Information

Job Summary:

The Research Technologist will participate in a research program in a Gastroenterology translational genetics research laboratory.

Responsibilities:
  • Designs, develops and tests complex mouse breeding involving generation of triple transgenic mice on knockout backgrounds, and triple knock-out mice.
  • Develops new assays for measuring bile acids levels and composition in mice.
  • Generates novel mouse strains and supervises mouse colonies.
  • Develops novel flow cytometry panels to study complex immune cells populations in mice.
  • Tests new therapeutic approaches in mouse models.
  • Give presentations of results at lab meetings.

Additional Requirements

Education, Experience or Certifications:

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree by start date required.
  • Knowledge in immunology


Experience:
  • Previous experience in an immunology laboratory is preferred.
