Enterprise Resource Planning
Supports documentation needs for Campus Solutions modules. Works with CS Business Analysts to provide clear and sufficient documentation of processes/programs to include: business process flow and requirements, Oracle/PSoft development requirements, technical requirements residing outside of CS modules, integration, disaster recovery needs and accompanying test scripts of processes/programs.
Provides support for Student Records life cycle processes. Analyzes requests for configuration changes, modifications, enhancements and/or workarounds as necessary. Ensures requests are made and approved through appropriate channels. Analyzes costs/benefits of proposed changes to determine best course of action.
Follows established procedures for Student Records testing and migration. Provides clear and sufficient documentation of issues and subsequent resolutions
Works with home teams to develop functional specifications. Creates and updates test scripts and configuration documents to accommodate changes.
Assists in the development of job aids and other training materials.
Performs duties in compliance with ITS policies, guidelines, and processes pertaining to support requests, work orders, project management, change management, and incident management. Appropriately utilizes associated tools in accordance with ITS standards.
This position requires demonstration of excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Must be a team player, demonstrate flexibility ,capability of multitasking, as well as demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills. Effective interaction with all contacts is required. Self-directed with ability to take initiative and follow through to completion on commitments. Must be able to coordinate and collect detailed data elements, collate this data into a document encompassing business processes, business process flow, technical specifications, business analyst specifications, and end-user functional impacts.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or other appropriate degree or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to four years.
Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
Experience conveying technical information to technical and non-technical users.
Knowledge and experience with documenting existing and new processes.
Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
Experience evaluating process effectiveness and developing change or alternatives.
Knowledge and experience with interfacing business applications with other systems.
Experience prioritizing, organizing, and performing work assignments simultaneously.
Process mapping using Visio and documentation skills.
Knowledge of Word and Adobe Professional
Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint
Anticipated Salary Range
Negotiable based upon experience.
This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.
Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
