The Department of Radiation Oncology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. The successful applicant will be accomplished in the area of Radiation Oncology, should be an outstanding clinician and will have the opportunity to practice in a thriving academic and clinical environment by providing Radiation Oncology services at the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated interest in working with the veteran population; prior experience working in a VA radiation oncology clinic is preferred.

 

Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care. Board certification in Radiation Oncology is required with at least one year of clinical experience.

Penn Radiation Oncology is dedicated to a three-part mission of excellence in patient care, basic and translational research, and the education of residents and medical students. Penn Medicine delivers a broad range of radiation therapy services to its patients, including intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), high-dose rate (HDR) and low-dose rate brachytherapy, partial breast irradiation and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS using Gamma Knife or Cyberknife).
