College of Music
Arranges and processes travel and non-travel reimbursements for all College-related travel, including non-travel expense reimbursements.
Oversees the College of Music telephone switchboard, and screens calls for the College; oversees the receipt and distribution of all mail; receives deliveries; processes all parcel mailings (including FedEx, USPS, and other carriers); supervises and assists with bulk mailings for College.
Hires, trains, and supervises OPS student employees working in the College of Music administrative office suites.
Prepares correspondence for the College of Music faculty; serves as key operator for photocopy equipment; trains and supervises operators; coordinates maintenance and replacement of photocopy equipment.
Places orders, maintains inventory, and controls distributions of office and instructional supplies for the College. Performs other related duties as assigned by Supervisor.
High school diploma/equivalent and two years of full-time experience related to the duties of this position. (Note: Post-high school education may substitute at the comparable rate.)
Experience in office practices and procedures, including filing and the operation of standard office equipment.
Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel or comparable software, basic data entry, and assisting clients/customers.
Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments accurately and simultaneously in a detail oriented environment.
Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with staff, faculty, and students.
Ability to train and supervise OPS employees.
This is an USPS (University Support Personnel System) position.
Criminal Background Check
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check. The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11.
