ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF RESEARCH & EVALUATION
Duties: ImpactED accelerates social change by building data-informed organizations. Our work bridges the worlds of research and practice through two key components:
Evaluation. We conduct rigorous and responsive evaluation studies. Our evaluations provide a trusted validation of organizations' work and provide insights to increase organizational effectiveness.
Development. We offer targeted development for organizational leaders through our evaluation capacity-building programs. Our unique approach increases organizations' effectiveness by equipping them with the information, skills, and tools they need to inform improvement and share their story with the broader community.
The Assistant Director of Research & Evaluation will implement and manage evaluation projects on behalf of ImpactED, and support ImpactED's evaluation capacity-building programs. The Assistant Director of Evaluation's primary responsibilities include project planning and management, client management, and data collection, analysis, and reporting. The individual in this role will work closely with the Director of ImpactED, the Director of Research & Evaluation, and current students to carry out position responsibilities.
Qualifications: Required: Qualified candidates must have a bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of professional experience in relevant positions, as well as strong alignment to ImpactED's core values of empathy, excellence and continuous improvement. We are seeking an experienced evaluator with highly developed evaluation management and organizational skills, and the ability to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills, analytical capacity and organizational ability are essential to success in this position. Qualified candidates will be required to submit a writing sample.
Preferred: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and a statistical analysis package (e.g., Stata, SPSS, R) is highly preferred.
