HBHS faculty have received national and international awards for their work bridging teaching, research and practice.

Located in the Fort Worth cultural district, the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC) is one of the fastest-growing academic health science centers in Texas. The University enrolls 2,700 graduate students in the fields of public health, medicine, biomedical science, pharmacy, physical therapy, and physician assistant studies. The University is well-positioned for rapid expansion, matching the growing population and economic vitality of the DFW Metroplex. At this time, the University of North Texas Health Science Center and Texas Christian University (TCU) are planning to launch a new allopathic (MD) medical school.
