Posting Summary:
The Research Division of the Department of Radiology & Medical Imaging seeks a Faculty Wage member targeting candidates for directing large-scale neuroimage processing and statistical analysis. The applicant must have a theoretical and practical knowledge of core algorithms such as image registration and image segmentation as well as recent developments in deep learning. The candidate must also demonstrate experience with the various tools used in the field, e.g., FreeSurfer, FSL, ITK, ANTs, and/or AFNI. It is preferred that the applicant has also contributed to one or more of these packages. Statistical competence is expected and should be supported by a working knowledge of Python or R.

The successful applicant must have a PhD and should be recognized by their colleague as a mid- to senior level individual with publications evidencing significant contribution to the field. The candidate is expected to guide other post-docs and research staff in the use of these software tools to further enhance the research quality of the department. The selected candidate will also be expected to develop collaborations with other departments. Such collaborations are expected to facilitate interdisciplinary research and grant efforts.
