Reporting to the Head Cross Country Coach, the Assistant Coach will:

• Assist the Head Coach with coaching, recruiting, scouting/strategy and practice planning.

• Assist with organizational planning (travel, community service, study hall, etc.), and support player development and assist with roster management

• Follow Athletic Department Policy and Procedures.

• Provide positive leadership for student-athletes.

• Know and comply with all NCAA rules and regulations, and pass the NCAA Coaches Certification Exam annually.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Ablity to aquire CPR /First Aid certification by first day of practice
• Valid drivers license

• Familiar with NCAA rules and regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• One to two years experience in coaching
at the collegiate or high school level.

• Demonstrated ability to establish positive
working relationships with students,
coaches, staff and faculty
