RESEARCH ASSISTANT, School of Public Health, Epidemiology

Part-time research assistant on research study. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the participant coordinator for the Veterans Affairs Normative Aging Study. This is a longitudinal study which has followed a closed cohort of men since the 1960s. Study participants are seen in routine in-person visits conducted at the VA Boston Healthcare System, Jamaica Plain campus. The employee is hired to schedule and coordinate these in-person study visits, and maintain contact with participants on an as-needed basis. He/She will ensure that participants complete all the required activities, including a physical examination, and cognitive and psychosocial assessments, during visits. He/She is also expected to enter data collected from participants into the study database.

High School Diploma and 1-3 years' relevant experience
