COMMUNICATIONS AND OUTREACH SPECIALIST,Questrom School of Business, Institute for Health System Innovation and Policy

Reporting to the Director of Administration, the Communications and Outreach Specialist will be a key member of the Institute for Health System Innovation and Policy (IHSIP) team with project and communications responsibilities central to the Institutes success. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: project management & communications of programs & events; writing, editing, and updating content for web & print, managing social media networks, web presence, emails, and other communications. Additional responsibilities will include researching information and data to support the Institutes programs, communications, and publications. This role will engage with and impact the work of key constituents both internal and external to the University.


Bachelors degree required, with one to three years of relevant experience highly desirable. Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills. Excellent computer skills including proficiency in MS Office Suite, content management systems such as WordPress, email marketing software, and social media platforms. Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and HTML experience a plus. Must be organized, able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, and produce high-quality results. Must have the ability to smoothly manage relationships with a variety of people across roles and organizations. Due to the nature of the position, nights and weekend work will be occasionally required. Needs high energy level, positive presentation of self, and desire to personally invest in the work of the Institute. In this fast paced environment, professionalism, sound judgment, thoroughness, speed, and attention to detail are essential.
