Tenure-Track Assistant /Associate Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) seeks outstanding applicants for a tenure-track appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, effective as early as September 2019. The search is open to candidates specializing in all areas related to Electrical and Computer Engineering.

The successful candidate should have a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field, demonstrated excellence in academic research, and a proven track record of teaching and advising students. We seek faculty members who will create a climate that embraces excellence and diversity, with a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring that will enhance the work of the department and attract as well as retain a diverse student body. The College of New Jersey and its faculty view research and education as mutually supportive activities. A successful candidate should demonstrate plans for research that integrate teaching and undergraduate student participation with their scholarly interests. This candidate should also be committed to the teacher-scholar model at a primarily undergraduate institution. TCNJ Engineering faculty are expected to maintain high-quality teaching, an active and productive research program, as well as apply for external grants when appropriate.
