Brief Summary of Work for this Position:

Reporting to the Head Coach, Baseball, the Director of Baseball Operations is responsible for coordinating operational logistics for the UNCW Baseball program. Schedules practices, game day activities, and coordinates all team travel. Performs administrative/support functions such as budget management, purchasing, and travel reconciliation. Coordinates on-campus recruiting activities and communications with recruits. Assists with oversight of student employees. Engages with the community regarding community services and fundraising opportunities. Adheres to and enforces all policies and procedures of the department and university as well as the rules and regulations of the CAA and NCAA.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with experience working with student-athletes in a college athletic environment.

• Working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; the ability to analyze and interpret policy and procedural guidelines to resolve problems and questions specific to collegiate athletic teams.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Collegiate baseball program experience.
