Job Summary:
The employee in this position provides direct administrative assistance to the Director of the Career Center and direct financial and budget management for the units which make up Education Academic Services (EAS) in the School of Education. Specifically, the employee in this position will work with EAS leadership in understanding and implementing a wide range of programmatic, financial, and university policies. The employee exercises independent judgment and has broadly delegated authority with regard to budget, administrative and conference, employer relation support, and serving as back up for personnel. The employee will fulfill the financial needs for three units that comprise EAS, including the Career Center, Office of Undergraduate Recruitment and Retention and Education Academic Services to ensure compliance with all applicable statutes, Wisconsin Administrative codes, and UW Financial policies and procedures.
