Under direct supervision from a designated supervisor, to perform work requiring skill in the trade of plasterer.
A Plasterer typically:
- performs all duties peculiar to and normally required in the trade of plasterer, following recognized procedures and techniques for such work
- supervises tenders or other assistants
Experience sufficient to qualify as a journeyman plasterer, with a minimum of four years (48 months) of actual work at the trade, including apprentice or vocational training. The trade for this purpose shall include work normally performed by Plasterer i.e. applying, installing, maintaining and/or repairing interior or exterior plaster, cement, stucco or similar materials.

Plasterer positions are benefits-eligible civil service positions. Most positions are full-time (40 hours per week, 12 months per year). The minimum salary is $32.35 per hour.
