Position Summary: The Senior Accountant with the College of Engineering is responsible for hourly payroll, foundation accounting, scholarship financial administration, account reconciliation, purchase card administration, and serving as a back-up for the Business Manager III's. To be successful in this position, the incumbent should be able to communicate effectively with diverse groups of individuals: Faculty, staff, students, and visitors from different backgrounds and cultures, and have a customer service mindset. This individual will also need to be capable of handling confidential information and be comfortable to meet multiple deadlines. The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Administration Financial Director.

Responsibilities: Hourly Payroll: Set up and processes Hourly and Salaried biweekly payrolls. Set up new employees and supervisors and maintains changes in the payroll system. Maintain payroll files. Assist employees with their payroll questions.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field AND one (1) year of related experience. OR Five (5) years of related experience.
