Responsibilities
Providing excellent service to our College customers (faculty, staff and students), across a range of computing support activities within our CCS Response Center. Provide personal computer support, including hardware/software installation, troubleshooting and repair. Assist with classroom technology, audio/visual support, and distance learning operations.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalency and two years of experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to tow years.
Experience in personal computer support.
Skill and experience with Microsoft Windows OS, and Microsoft Office ( including Outlook).
Basic network configuration and troubleshooting skills required.
Strong Customer Service experience and commitment. Experience with documenting processes (new and existing). Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
Experience working successfully in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred
Experience with Apple Mac OSX and/or Linux; Experience with audio and video equipment and classroom technology.
Helpful
Some experience with Microsoft server operating systems and/ or computer programming.
Anticipated Salary Range
$10.00/hr - $13.00/hr, depending on qualifications
Pay Plan
This is an OPS/temporary Job.
Schedule
Typically, Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with a one-hour lunch (or a similar schedule, to be negotiated). Occasional schedule changes may be required to provide support for special situations.
