Position Summary: Incumbent provides routine informatics support for IS-Radiology. Incumbent provides support for the hardware and software environments necessary to ensure effective operations and gives guidance relative to new applications and technology initiatives.
Rate Minimum $23.42 Midpoint $36.21 Maximum $48.99
Required Qualifications:4+ years desktop support experience in a networked business environmentAbility to independently problem solve Desktop issuesAbility to read, write and communicate effectively in EnglishBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experienceGeneral knowledge of Tablets and Phone devicesGeneral understanding of Microsoft Active DirectoryKnowledge of MS Office Suite, Windows OS, and MAC OSKnowledge of TCP/IP protocolsKnowledge of operating system internals, file systems, functions of hardware components, and how hardware and software components work together to form a computer systemMust carry a pager/phone and provide on-call support for IT related issuesPrior experience supporting and configuring bio medical device interfacing to documentation systemsPrior experience supporting clinical end users in a rapidly changing environmentStrong interpersonal communication skills to effectively interface with internal and/or external customersUnderstanding of DNS, DHCP, WINSWillingness and ability to work occasional weekends and eveningsWorking knowledge of PACS (picture archiving and communication system) software and DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) protocol.Working knowledge of Thin client and other terminal related technologiesWorking knowledge of wireless network configurations and limitations related to a clinical environment
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or other healthcare related field with course work in systems analysis and developmentPrior experience supporting Biomedical Device IntegrationPrior experience supporting end users in the Clinical environment
