JOB SUMMARY:

Directs the 3-5-year planning, strategy implementation and operations for providing a broad range of end-to-end HR services to the campus, covering all aspects of the employee life-cycle from recruitment to separation. Administers institutional human resource policies and practices for several colleges or major administrative divisions of the University.
JOB DUTIES:

30% - Essential - Human Resource Leadership: Provides customer-focused HR leadership consistent with University, State and Federal policies, procedures and regulations. Provides accurate information and guidance on HR processes and practices, as well as leads metrics and analytics including trends, tracking business unit specific HR objectives. Leads and provides guidance on workforce planning initiatives and maximizes organizational effectiveness by recommending hierarchy/ structure changes.

30% - Essential - Consultative Guidance: Develops rolling 5-year workforce plans and strategies, including budgeting, to meet the future needs of the college or division. Proactively identifies and analyzes complex workforce planning problems. Consulting, advising, and assisting managers in achieving business goals through appropriate interventions while implementing and managing HR resource solutions, programs and services with dedicated resources to maximize the achievement of short- and long-range business objectives. Works collaboratively with HR subject matter experts.

20% - Essential - Collaboration and Partnership: . Serves as a leader and sales representative for HR solutions and products; leads the administering of core functions of HR with a strategic and consultative proactive approach. Responsible for maintaining a working knowledge of University policies, employment law, regulations and legislation changes relative to the workplace and communicating updates. Participate in the development and implementation of a broad spectrum of HR programs and services across campus.

20% - Essential - Strategic Initiative Implementation: Leads the deployment of HR strategic initiatives throughout the division. Assess the impact of business decisions on workforce and provides solutions to optimize opportunities and mitigate any downsides; aligns and integrates the strategic capabilities of the human resources department with organizational business objectives; identifies emerging human capital challenges with the University; sponsors efforts to create improvement opportunities and effective solutions with impact focusing on HR solutions.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor's degree and professional experience in managing human resource programs.
