Description of Position
This is an academic position in the Philosophy and Humanities Department, at Diablo Valley College, in Pleasant Hill, California. We are currently interviewing instructors for our Adjunct Teaching Faculty Pool. The successful applicant will be well qualified to teach all philosophy courses we offer, including: Introduction to Philosophy; Logic and Critical Thinking; Ethics; Comparative Religions; Philosophy of Religion.

Minimum Qualification-Education/Experience
1. Master's degree in philosophy;
2. Bachelor's degree in philosophy and master's degree in humanities or religious studies;
3. A valid California Community College Instructor Credential authorizing full-time instruction in Philosophy
4. The equivalent.
