Primary Function of Organization Unit: The Department of Computer Science is an academic teaching and research department in the College of Engineering. It is a large and complex unit that encompasses research intensive, teaching intensive and professional activities. It is one of the largest such departments in the nation by the number of faculty and students, and its total budget and size are comparable to, or larger than, a number of NC State University colleges and divisions. Essential Job Duties: This Software Developer will develop software and systems to organize and present data collected from the ROI project. Other duties include data curation and data collection. This position is responsible for the following duties: * web services architecture and development * system configuration * development of automated software deployment * data model development * data storage architecture and implementation * data curation

Minimum Education/Experience: Masters, Computer Science plus 2 years of work experience.

Department Required Skills: Knowledge of Django/Python web framework. Proficient in Database creation, management, and integration. Javascript front-end expertise. Proficient with Linux Operating System. Understanding of Machine Learning concepts

Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: Masters Degree in Computer Science and 5 years of work experience.
