Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Division of Environmental Science within the Department of Biological Sciences invites applications for a multi-year Continuing Lecturer position. Duties will include instruction of two introductory-level majors or non-majors courses and, at times, upper level courses in the applicant's discipline. This position also carries the requirement of service as an undergraduate adviser.

Minimum Qualifications:
A PhD degree in an area of biological sciences or closely related field and college teaching experience is required. In addition the candidate should be able to demonstrate strong communication skills; a commitment to excellent teaching; the ability to interact professionally with a diversity of faculty, staff and students; and a desire to make a commitment to undergraduate education.

Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to applicants with three or more years of college teaching in the area of ecology and/or environmental science and documented experience in academic advising at the college or university level.
