Job description
Responsibilities include: desk duties, which include chart maintenance, answer patient call lights, answer phones and assist visitors' needs, keep medical forms stocked, entering orders in hospital computer system. Keep desk and chart area clean, assist triage area which includes checking machines and equipment; cleaning beds; transfer patients and check patients in. In the labor and delivery room responsibilities include: setting up delivery tables; infant warmer; patient emergency equipment and supplies; assist with vaginal, C-section deliveries and recovery; patient care duties including taking vital signs, Inputs and outputs, and will also function as scrub tech in labor and delivery room.

Physical Requirements
The condition of work may involve exposure to communicable diseases, the hazards of radiation, and injury from intractable patients or sharp instruments. This job may require lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling which is considered “heavy work” (i.e. exerting 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, and 25-50 pounds of force frequently); as well as standing, walking, and sitting for long periods of time
Shift
Must work three, 12-hour shifts, 7am-7pm OR 7pm to 730am with some weekend and holiday shifts required
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
must be able to scrub for and assist with a variety of surgical cases
