The position provides clinical, emergency, consultation and outreach services to the Susquehanna University community. The coordinator provides clinical expertise in at least one of the following: eating disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, men's issues, MBSR, or DBT. The Counseling Center staff functions in a cooperative and collaborative environment, and the coordinator contributes to this both internally and within the larger university. Consistent with our commitment to provide a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for all persons who walk through our door, the coordinator provides culturally appropriate services to all students. This is a full-time 10-month position (August through May).

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Knowledge of English language including meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar. Skilled at written and verbal communication, including formal presentation to groups. Ability to set priorities and advocate team concepts; work collaboratively with faculty and staff.
Master's in psychology, counseling, or social work required.
Appropriate licenses or license-eligible in Pennsylvania required.
Three years' clinical experience required.
Position requires the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time. Position requires the ability to move about the campus. Position requires the ability to talk and to hear instruction. Position requires occasional manual dexterity and the ability to use fingers, hands, and arms to feel, handle, and reach. Position requires occasional stooping, crouching and bending. Position requires the ability to occasionally lift up to 10 pounds. Working conditions are normal office environment and indoor.
Doctorate psychology, counseling, or social work preferred.
Experience working within a college or university counseling center, experience or expertise in working with men and masculinity issues and experience working with a diverse population strongly preferred.
