Financial and Business Analyst

This position has primary responsibility for the management of all financial matters within the department, including analysis, preparation, and monitoring of the departmental budget, advising the Department Administrator, faculty and other departmental managers on financial issues, accounts payable and preparation of budgets for research grants and contracts within the department.

This position has independent decision making authority and is responsible for policy analysis and interpretation, and problem solving responsibilities that require interaction with all levels of administrators, University faculty, staff, vendors, and visitors. Responsible for the accounting, reconciliation, reporting, projection, and budgeting of all assigned funds. Responsible for interpretation and application of appropriate policies and procedures, including fund restrictions, to process reimbursement and travel requests for department seminar program, colloquia, faculty recruitment, graduate student recruitment, and all other programs. Position manages graduate student funding and assists with administrative operations by overseeing web presence and assisting with implementing policies and procedures for the unit.

Salary: Hourly $23.58 - $32.06
Total Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm, M-F
