Job description

The Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant or Associate Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, research, and clinical care. Board certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine is required.

The successful candidate will be a key member of the Critical Care Section within the Division and will be charged with developing a clinical/translational research program and attending a busy clinical inpatient practice. The candidate should also be an outstanding teacher and have experience managing patients with critical illness, including oncology and lung transplantation patients. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
