Graduate Assistant, Institutional Research & Information Management
The Research Graduate Assistant performs research as a majority of their service. Working closely with one or more faculty members, assist with scholarly activities or research. Potentially includes all phases of research from design through literature review, data collection, analysis, writing, and preparation/presentation of findings.
The Research Graduate Assistant receives a stipend and a tax-exempt tuition waiver.
Assist university faculty/staff with research-related projects or other assignments that require the advanced discipline skills of graduate students.
Other departmental related duties as required.
Candidate will perform a variety of roles from assisting with educational research projects and assisting with accreditation and assessment related activities/events to any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Applicant must be admitted to one of the following programs at master's or doctoral level: Educational Leadership, Psychology, Statistics, Economics, or programs with a social/educational research focus.
Applicant must have strong writing and interpersonal skills and be available to work during typical business hours.
Ability to work up to 20 hours per week (10 for 50%) is required.
GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
Admission and enrollment in a graduate program is required.
Maintenance of a 67% course completion is required.
Enrollment in at least 6 credits for Fall and Winter semesters is required.
