Full/Part Time Part-Time
Seeking experienced educators to join our team. Opportunities include English language teaching at the undergraduate level, adult ESL teaching, or upper level seminar coursework taught in English for visiting scholars. Duties vary depending on position.
OUR TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
The Asian Affairs Center's educational philosophy on language and cultural acquisition is an integrated, full immersion approach. Program participants are asked to start "living" English and American culture, rather than studying them. Coursework is designed to help students pursue that goal with community involvement, engagement with native speakers and hands on project based learning.

- MA degree or higher (or TEFL/TESOL certification)
- 5+ years teaching experience
- Experience with course development and assessment
- Experience living/working abroad
- BA degree or above
- Native/near native level of English proficiency
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience (ESL preferred)
- Flexible schedule with daytime availability
- Pay is commiserate with education and experience.
