Job description
The Department of Pediatrics-UK Metabolic Division seeks a Pediatric Genetic Counselor to assist physicians in identifying family history and apply state of the art testing instruments and modalities to identify relative risks and specific genetic counseling needs.
Job duties include: provide individualized genetic education and counseling for patients and relevant family members, document/dictate key components via clinic note or other form of document specific to clinic format, ensure documentation is timely and meets compliance standards, as well as maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with the interdisciplinary health care team.
