Position Summary: This is a professional registered nursing position which provides clinical nursing care in the outpatient clinic with delegated responsibility for supervision of assigned staff. The Registered Professional Nurse provides clinical care which is within the scope of UHC nursing practice and in accordance with the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. The Registered Professional Nurse works closely with nursing staff, clinician staff, the clinic manager, the clinic lead physician, administrative staff, and patients and their families in providing nursing care.

Responsibilities: Practices clinical nursing in a safe, responsible and effective manner. Manages patient flow; triages and assigns patients to appropriate care. Refers patients to providers and coordinates care throughout the visit. Demonstrates competence in tasks related to the position.

Qualifications: Current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with Bachelors Degree in Nursing. Minimum 12 months employment experience as a Registered Professional Nurse.
