Desirable Qualifications
-Bachelor€™s Degree or four years of full-time academic/student support services
-Completion of 15-20 upper division semester units in race/ethnic studies, sociology, psychology, anthropology or social science equivalent fields
-Spanish speaker
-Two years of full-time experience performing student support services and case management at a community college in grant funded initiatives or statewide categorical programs
-Associate€™s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Liberal Arts, Ethnic Studies or related field
-Completion of introductory statistics or social science methods course

The position will provide strategic support for the College Promise Innovation Grant Program, in particular the direct services related to the Promise Grant. The Promise Innovation Grant will focus on services related to student success and first year experience to all incoming eligible Promise students for the 2018-2019 academic year.

Specific knowledge and experience in grant funded projects for student support services and programming that is related to high school to community college access, student retention methodology and practices, as well as the strategies necessary for the success and persistence of first-generation, low-income, minority students from an underserved background.
