Summary of Duties:
Teach majors and minors in the keyboard area, with possible assignments in other keyboard-related courses, depending on the needs of the area. Play for rehearsals and performances of opera scenes (fall) and full opera or Broadway production (spring). Teach in the theory area as needed, primarily applied theory courses. Maintain creative and scholarly activity. Participate in student recruiting as well as service activities and professional organizations.

The School of Music within the College of Arts and Sciences has 29 full-time and 1 part-time music faculty, 7 staff, and approximately 200 students enrolled as graduate students, undergraduate music majors, and music minors. Music faculty are highly active professionally throughout the world. The School of Music is housed in the renovated Kimbrough Music Building, which includes a professional quality, digital recording studio. More information can be found at music.wsu.edu

Required Qualifications:
Completed doctorate or ABD, demonstrated high level of piano performance ability and piano teaching experience. Potential for creative activities, scholarly achievements, and/or research related to the position. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
