Miami Dade College, one of the largest and most diverse institution of higher education in the nation is seeking a Dean, School of Science. The Dean of the School of Science serves as the key liaison and College spokesperson for the School and provides strong leadership for Science through strategic planning, program development, review and revision, resource development, innovation, faculty development and cross-disciplinary collaboration. The Dean has a strong external focus which includes establishing and fostering connections with external entities related to Science. The position advances strategic enrollment, student success, college completion, job placement and transfer. Requirements: Doctorate in discipline and six (6) years of senior level experience in higher education or equivalent relevant managerial skills and demonstrated leadership and creative accomplishments in the science disciplines at an institution of higher learning or related industry.
