Navigator (Student Services Program Coordinator II) #18106
The Navigator will be assigned a caseload of students and work independently with limited supervision.
Primary responsibilities include: assisting students through the admission and enrollment process, coordinating academic support, using technology to monitor program and performance progress as appropriate, refering students to appropriate support services, reviewing and accepting documents, receiving and addressing early alert notifications, providing registration assistance and organizational information to students. These duties are conducted in one-on-one, group, or virtual sessions.
Experience in student services or academic advising in a college setting is preferred. Candidates must practice excellent customer service, be highly professional, and possess strong communication and computer skills. The ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment is critical.
This position requires a bachelor’s degree and two (2) years’ experience in student services programs.
