Director of Admissions

Jefferson Community College, Watertown, NY, a member of the State University of New York (SUNY) system, is conducting a search for a full-time Director of Admissions.  Reporting to the Dean of Enrollment, this position is a key member of the Enrollment Services leadership team and provides strategic leadership for admissions outreach and operations to meet college enrollment goals. Jefferson Community College is seeking candidates who possess excellent management, data analysis, and public speaking skills, and who have a strong task orientation, attention to detail, and are able to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.

Required: Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years appropriate professional experience, or Master’s Degree and 5 years appropriate professional experience

Preferred: Leadership experience in college admissions or related field.  Proven record of strong organizational and management experience as well as ability to use data effectively in decision-making. A record of successful outcomes in the development and achievement of enrollment goals is preferred.
