The Undergraduate Education Program at Curry College invites applications for part-time Associate Lecturers to teach in our Undergraduate Programs in Moderate Disabilities and Pre-K through 8 levels.

The successful candidate should possess the following: knowledge of and extensive practical experience with a variety of students with mild to moderate special needs; knowledge of and extensive practical experience with the legal aspects of special education as well as the Individualized Education Plan; knowledge of and extensive practical experience with instructional planning and execution for students with a variety  of mild to moderate special needs; knowledge of and extensive practical experience with special education assessment protocols as well as classroom based assessments for a variety of students with special needs and knowledge of and experience behavior management strategies for a variety of students with mild to moderate disabilities.

Minimum Requirements:

A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Special Education or Education related field and experience working in public schools or collaborative settings is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with novice special education teachers desired.
  • Teaching at the Higher Education level preferred.
