Job Summary

This Adjunct Faculty member teaches Translation and Interpretation courses.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Teaches courses in lecture and laboratory sections
  • Evaluates and advises students
  • Participates in department and College affairs
  • Develops curricula
  • Recruits students
  • Serves on committees
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Translation/Interpretation and two years of relevant work experience; or Masters degree in Linguistics, Spanish, Healthcare, Law or Juris Doctorate, and two years of relevant work experience
  • All educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
  • Must be able to work well with students, faculty, staff and the community
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Must be able to travel between campuses


  • Additional certification/s: (ATA, CMI, NAJIT, or State or Federal Court Interpreter)
