Job Summary

This adjunct faculty member teaches developmental education - mathematics courses.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Teaches lectures and/or facilitates modularized learning
  • Evaluates and advises students
  • Develops curricula
  • Recruits students
  • Participates in departmental and College affairs
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor/s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education or Statistics, or Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 15 semester credit hours in Mathematics or Statistics including Calculus I or equivalent
  • All educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
  • Must possess excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to work well with students, faculty, staff and the community
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments


  • Master's degree preferred
  • Teaching experience desired
