Assessment Data Specialist
The primary responsibilities of the Assessment Data Specialist are to assist in maintaining testing data and information for the department, generate statistical information and reports and enter testing information into the college administrative system. The position reports directly to the Testing Services Manager.
Assist in maintaining testing programs and department databases.
Generate and maintain departmental testing data and spreadsheets.
Compile department statistics for placement and other departmental reports as needed.
Convert ACT and SAT data files into the proper format for further processing.
Assist in the processing of alternate geometry placement requests.
Serve as data support for dual credit and high school partnerships testing.
Administer and score examinations within Learning Assessment and Testing Services as needed.
Perform data entry of test scores and testing related information in the college's administrative system.
Serve as backup in scheduling testing appointments and answering department phones.
Respect and up hold client confidentiality
Observe principals of good practice in assessment as defined by the American Association of higher Education and the National College Testing Association (NCTA).
Attend monthly staff meetings, workshops and in-service activities as appropriate.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems and/or Technology, Accounting, Education or related field required.
One year experience in in using large databases.
Intermediate Microsoft Excel and basic Microsoft Access skills required.
Excellent communication, organizational, project management and analytical skills.
Ability to work evenings and occasional weekends.
