Job description
Supervise hardware, software and physical environment of the computers.
Provides professional development and training of personnel on computer equipment.
Responsible for timely service of Technical Assistance Center calls.
Install PC and MAC software and hardware.
Maintain PC and MAC network software and hardware to the component and chip levels.
Provide consulting to the Information Technology staff.
Maintain proper security of software and hardware.
Remain "state of the art" in computer software and hardware.
Make recommendations for the purchase of hardware and software.
Provide computer hardware and software pricing for institution.
Responsible for the inventory of all computer hardware and software.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications: Associate degree required, preferably in a technical field.
Three years experience in the maintenance, installation and configuration of computer hardware and software required.
Knowledge of computer networks, various computer hardware and software needed.
Good verbal and written communications skills. Good interpersonal and inter-organizational skills. Ability to interact with all levels of management, faculty, staff and students.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and take initiative.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
