MGR RES PROJECT A

Job description

Duties: * Lead the project management of grant-based work pertaining to the Center for High Impact Philanthropy's behavioral health or funder decision-making portfolio. Activities include:
o Managing project workplans and workflows
o Coordinating between University staff, temporary workers and consultants, student researchers, and external experts and advisory board members to ensure grant deliverables are completed on time
o Managing relationship donors and external stakeholders to project
o Contributing to the evaluation of models and issue areas for potential for philanthropic impact
o Conducting site visits and interviews to understand and better communicate the operational details of promising models
o Working with Social Impact Fellow for Applied Research, senior staff others to draft final recommendations.
o Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities for partnerships and funding relationships and representing the Center and its work with external parties.

Position is contingent on continued funding.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 3 to 5 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, are required. Master's Degree and 1 - 3 years of experience strongly preferred. Additional postgraduate training can be counted towards years of experience. Characteristics of an ideal candidate include:
* Relevant masters-level training (e.g., social/public policy, public health, nonprofit leadership, or business); experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm a plus.
* Creative and resourceful in accessing, synthesizing, and translating research findings from a variety of sources of evidence (e.g., program evaluations, research papers, interviews)
* Excellent writing and editing skills. Strong verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with a general audience, as well as individuals from multiple disciplines and levels of seniority.
* Comfort with contributing to collaborative, team-based efforts. Experience managing/leading projects a plus.
