Wellness Program Specialist

Coordinate administrative activities, programs, and events in support of the University of Vermont Employee Wellness Program. Work closely with the HR Process Supervisor and Wellness Advisory Team to achieve annual wellness program goals, while following the strategic Wellness planning schedule. Coordinate and monitor programs and events such as on-site flu shot clinic and biometric screenings; support strategic planning and program development; create marketing and communication materials; and evaluate wellness survey responses. Respond to inquiries and provide information to employees. Maintain related data, records, documents, and resources; process billing and assist in tracking wellness related budgets. Report to the HR Services Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor's degree in related field and one to three years of related experience required. Effective interpersonal, written communication, and organizational skills required. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse constituents required. Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and publishing applications required. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, social justice issues, and fostering a collaborative, multicultural environment required.
Proficient with MS Office Suite include Word, Excel, Publisher & Power Point highly desirable. Experience working in a human resources- or wellness-related function desirable.
80% of full time with full benefits package
Occasional overtime/weekend hours required, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees
Hiring Min (Represents full-time (12 months, 1.0 FTE) equivalent salary. Must be prorated for jobs less than 12 months or 1.0FTE (Salary/12 x # of months x FTE))
Payband Max (Represents full-time (12 months, 1.0 FTE) equivalent salary. Must be prorated for jobs less than 12 months or 1.0FTE (Salary/12 x # of months x FTE))
