General Summary: The University of North Georgia, Department of Nursing invites applications for the 10-month, tenure track position of Assistant/Associate Professor, Graduate Nursing Program.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assist in curriculum development, implementation, evaluation, and accreditation activities of the undergraduate program.
  • Faculty teaching responsibilities in the graduate nursing programs. Faculty responsibilities include participation in university and community service actives, satisfy committee appointments, and engaging in professional practice activities.
  • Teaching, scholarship, and service are key components of work expectations of faculty at UNG.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Must have knowledge, skills and abilities as a registered professional nurse.


Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • An earned doctoral degree (DNP or PhD) in nursing from an accredited college/university.)
  • Current unencumbered license in Georgia as a registered professional nurse.
  • Prior academic leadership experience required; prior full-time graduate online teaching experience preferred.
  • Certifications as appropriate.
