Description

Founded in 2015, the Center for Applied Brain and Cognitive Sciences is a cooperative research initiative between Tufts University and the U.S. Army Natick Soldier Research, Development, and Engineering Center (NSRDEC). Our mission is to bring together a unique interdisciplinary community of scientists and engineers to advance the state of the art in applied brain and cognitive sciences. The Center provides an innovative environment for conducting collaborative applied research focusing on measuring, predicting, and enhancing cognitive capabilities and human system interactions for individuals and teams working in naturalistic high-stakes environments.

The Project Administrator position provides specialized, subject matter knowledge to develop, implement, review and evaluate a university Program or Project in collaboration with Manager or Director. She/he participates in development of goals and strategies; creates data management and filing systems; develops, analyzes and monitors budgets, grants and contracts; and participates in development and implements marketing and advertising efforts including writing content for website and social media material. The Project Administrator may design and represent program externally at conferences, meetings and events. He/she conducts research and drafts reports and results. She/he may oversee recruitment and management of study subjects. The Project Administrator may provide advice and counseling to students. The Project Administrator also coordinates hiring and training of staff, students and temporary help.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline and 3+ years of related experience OR Master’s degree and 1-2 years related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in related discipline and 3+ years of experience in related field of study.
