Summary of Duties:
The Assistant Director is responsible for assisting in the overall management of the Chinook Student Center services and operations. This person will be responsible for the training, development, evaluation, and supervision of the Program Coordinator and approximately 6 FTE of associated temporary staff. This position will be responsible for the strategic development and management of associated budgets, staffing decisions, and discretion in developing operating and fiscal plans for directed programs and facilities.

Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree in recreation, athletic administration, higher education, kinesiology, business or relevant field and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in a field related to the functional managerial area, which includes one (1) year of supervisory experience. A Master’s degree in a related field may be substituted for up to one (1) year of the required experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
