Duties: Job duties will include management of Ryan Small Animal Hospital business office. Within this role, the individual will be responsible for patient billing, revenue cycle management, general ledger system maintenance & management and staff development. A critical aspect of this role will be performing the monthly financial close process for revenues of approximately $27M, conducting appropriate audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy of the financials produced. Strong financial knowledge and analytical skills will be utilized to produce standard and ad hoc reports as requested by clinicians and senior leadership. The position manages the business office staff and reports to the Senior Director of Finance/Associate Executive Hospital Director

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree required. Major in Accounting/Business highly preferred. A minimum of 5 years of business office management experience with a focus in healthcare. Robust experience in revenue cycle management including billing, AR management, cash management and collections. Experience in performing monthly financial close is required. Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities. Experience managing others is necessary
