Job Summary


The Part-Time Business Development Manager engages and maintains relationships with community partners to enhance collaboration and maximize enrollment, internship opportunities and other activities to benefit student success.


Duties & Responsibilities


  • Develops and implements outreach activities to identify potential partnerships opportunities in the community
  • Develops and implements activities to engage potential students and inform them of academic offerings and intake procedures
  • Develops potential leads and completes follow up in order to increase campus enrollment
  • Serves as the primary contact for community outreach
  • Collaborates with all discipline areas to maximize program benefit exposure to potential students and community contacts
  • Develops marketing content for promotion of events, programs and campus
  • Collaborates with advisors and recruiters in student services area to ensure consistency of information dissemination
  • Interprets and disseminates information regarding admissions policies and procedures
  • Conducts ongoing research and evaluation to maximize effectiveness of marketing and outreach strategies
  • Performs other duties as assigned.



Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in related area from a regionally accredited institution and three (3) years of related experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office software and specific computer programs related to area of responsibility such as Adobe Product
  • Demonstrated ability to manage social media content
  • Ability to effectively present information to groups of managers, community partners and general public
  • Ability to respond accurately to common inquiries and effectively address grievances
  • Ability to travel to various campuses for recruiting events
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret and enforce regulations, policies and procedures
  • Possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize, use effective time-management skills, and make decisions in accordance with office procedures
  • Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff
