Degree and Area of Specialization:
Bachelors Degree in a related field preferred.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Prior experience in higher education administration, minimum of 5 years. A strong candidate will demonstrate high-level organizational, critical thinking and problem solving skills, as well as outstanding oral and written communication skills, and will demonstrate a record of superior follow-through. Preferred knowledge of campus human resources, budgetary and finance regulations, project management/process improvement experience.
License or certificate:
The Director of Operations and Staff Development is the foundation for human resource, business services, project management, and communications work in the College of Letters and Science Student Academic Affairs department. The person in this position will play a critical and trusted role in delivering the Associate Dean's priorities and vision for the department. This position also provides support and guidance to SuccessWorks at the College of Letters and Science specifically around recruitment, human resources, and budget management issues.
