Part Time Receptionist/Phone Support - Information Technology
Information Technology (IT) is the unified IT organization that supports the vision, values, mission, and goals of the University by providing IT infrastructure, systems, administrative applications, academic resources and related services to faculty, students and staff. Receptionist with some clerical duties for the Information Technology (IT) building, reporting to the Assistant Director, Telecom Services. Serves as the operator for the University campus switchboard answering calls, responding to a variety of inquiries from both on and off-campus callers, and directing calls as necessary. Provides numbers, information and directions in a friendly, courteous, accurate, professional and efficient manner. As IT receptionist, greets visitors to the building including students, faculty and staff of the university as well as vendors of technology and other services, assisting such visitors with inquiries or directing them to other IT staff member or department as required. Performs general clerical tasks such as typing, sorting mail, scheduling tele-conferences for members of the University community, assisting with room scheduling/coordination of meeting/events, and assorted record keeping functions.
This is a non-benefited position not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Customer service experience
- Ability to follow instructions & work carefully
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent listing skills, oral communication skill, and a positive teamwork attitude
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer Service experience
- A.A. degree or Bachelor's
- 1+ years of Administrative or Customer Service experience
Monday-Friday, flexible hours. 20 hours per week.
